Although the name has not changed at all nor has the general function bd continues to update this popular and versatile device and for 2019 along with new colors the device is lighter weighing only 2 8 ounces rather than 3 2 as it did before.
I use an atc for the gym and most toproping especially with thick 11mm ropes and a reverso 4 for all lead belays from above and below and anything involving a skinny rope 9 8mm.
Just bought the reverso 4 as i have 8mm ropes the few people i asked all recommended it over the atc guide.

Wasn t too bothered about bringing two seconds up initially but from time to time it may be convenient i m starting to think that 8 5mm would have made more sense then.

They are both about the same size reverso 3 was tight and definitely tighter then an atc.
